Bullipedia Wine Sapiens Launch

Exciting benchmark event to mark the first English-language release of the encyclopedic compendium Bullipedia Wine Sapiens.

Created in cooperation Juvé & Camps, Co-authors Chef Ferran Adrià and Sommelier Ferran Centelles highlighted their key findings following a ten-year investigative research project.

Spotted around the room were an assortment of NYC’s top wine writers, all eager to greet the creators.

Sommelier Ferran Centelles has been linked to the wine team at the world-renowned elBulli project since 1999. He holds the WSET Diploma and Advanced Level certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers.

He is a regular judge at international competitions, such as Decanter World Wine, where Centelles serves as regional Co-Chair for Spain. Additionally, Centelles is the Spanish wine specialist at www.jancisrobinson.com

Centelles has garnered countless accolades and awards in his impressive career, including Best Sommelier in Spain in 2006 (Ruinart), National Gastronomy Award in 2011, and WSET Best Alumni in 2020

Ferran Adrià is one of the most influential, trailblazing culinary figures alive today. In the early 90’s, Adrià’s innovative leadership as executive chef at elBulli restaurant gave birth to a series of new concepts, techniques, and service formats that are still used today.

In addition to earning three Michelin Stars and being named best restaurant in the world five times by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, Adrià catapulted into fame for popularizing avant-garde cuisine and creating a multitude of new culinary techniques.
