History of San Antonio

Chef Cesar Zepeda
Renowned San Antonio-based chef Cesar Zepeda, owner of Sangria on the Burg, visited Manhattan as an ambassador for his city.

Chef Zepeda’s passion for cooking started at a young age, inspired by his mother and grandmother’s traditional Mexican cooking.
He honed his skills at the Culinary Institute of America in New York and worked in some of the best restaurants in the country, including Eleven Madison Park in New York City.
To show his culinary prowess to curious New Yorkers, he turned his audience into sous chefs and put them to work to replicate dishes of his Sangria on the Burg restaurant.
