The Puerto Rico Experience

The Puerto Rico Experience

Puerto Rico is a fantastic place to spend a weekend or longer.

Discover Puerto Rico arranged some fabulous experiences – I will share some of them below. Initially, I wondered this: Will there really be “enough” to do in Puerto Rico?

Now if you plan to spend the entire weekend on the beach, playing in the ocean, swimming in your beautiful hotel pool, or renting a boat you might say “I’d need ten days more!”

Yet what if you want to avoid the sun? Is there anything to do in Puerto Rico aside from gamble?

As you have seen before, I’ve gathered my various experiences into the five articles below.

The articles include a fabulous day at the luxurious Palacio Provincial Hotel. I would recommend this hotel for couples looking for some private couples time in an ultra-luxe environment.

At the end of the trip, we transferred to the Fairmont El San Juan Puerto Rico.

We splurged for a fabulous villa-style room near the pool with a private patio and a “couples shower” that was like a room in itself.

Between those ten days we enjoyed the nostalgia of walking in Old San Juan in the moonlight, visiting a tobacco museum, gorging ourselves during a chocolate brunch (yes, chocolate in the omelet, even in the brunch drinks), and visiting incredible rum producing places, chocolate stores, and even a forest where the owner grows cocoa.

Even a visit to the artistic community of Loiza, Puerto Rico’s majestic art museum, a salsa dancing class, a bomba class, and lots more.

Too much fun to list here, so please take a gander at the articles below.
