When it comes to Briziarelli winery, it’s hard to decide what I like best: it’s famous Sagrantino wine, it’s high-tech winery with a transparent floor overlooking the barrel room, or its approach to branding.

Sagrantino

The winery’s flagship wine, Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG, is a testament to the exceptional quality of this grape. Sagrantino, an indigenous grape variety of Montefalco, is the star of Briziarelli’s wine portfolio.

Beyond the Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG, Briziarelli Winery also offers a diverse selection of wines, including Montefalco Rosso DOC and Grechetto.

The Montefalco Rosso DOC, a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, and a small percentage of Sagrantino, is a versatile red wine, suitable for various food pairings. The Grechetto, a white wine made from the Grechetto grape, is a crisp and refreshing option, ideal for seafood dishes or as an aperitif.
